I'm learning White Hat SEO and i managed to write up this for the forum.

Search For Blogs
1) Go to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
2) Search your Keywords.
3) Check every blog to see if you can comment.
Commenting
1) Read the Post
2) Think for a Good Comment
3) On the "Name" Put your anchor text.
4) Email
5) Website
6) Comment Make sure its not Spammy!
Pinging the sites
1) Every time you post a link and if its auto approved save the link in a txt file.
2) go to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and ping every singe link you saved so the big G can know the site has been changed and it needs to crawl it. Then you will get you backlinks indexed.
